The fiery star, now a BJP candidate from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency, isn’t just eyeing a seat in Parliament but is promising full-time service if elected in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Ranaut expressed her readiness to dedicate herself to serving the people of Mandi. “If the people of Mandi choose me and want my full-time commitment, I am here to work tirelessly for them,” she affirmed.

Ranaut’s political aspirations go beyond mere rhetoric. She envisions becoming the voice of Mandi’s citizens, advocating for better schools, hospitals, and infrastructure. “I will fight for their rights. I would have a voice to raise for Mandi,” she passionately declared.

When asked about her role models, Ranaut drew inspiration from Swami Vivekananda, Sadhguru ji, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing her admiration for their leadership and vision.

During a vibrant public rally and a spirited roadshow in her constituency, Ranaut candidly addressed the transition from the film industry to politics. She acknowledged the possibility of making mistakes but asserted, “This isn’t a film industry where I will be crucified for errors.”

Her words resonated with a sense of determination and dedication to serve the people, earning praise for her sincerity and commitment. “I am your daughter and sister, so I know that I can make small mistakes here,” she said, exuding confidence in her new role.

Ranaut’s inclusion in the BJP’s candidate list for the Mandi seat marks a significant milestone in her career trajectory. “This is my ‘janmabhoomi’ and it has called me back, I am fortunate,” she expressed, acknowledging the emotional significance of her candidacy.

As she embarks on this new journey, Ranaut extends her gratitude to BJP chief JP Nadda and affirms her alignment with the party’s culture of cooperation. “Believing in the same, I will walk with them and we will win…We will have a big campaign,” she affirmed with optimism and determination.
